An old client is a new client – Children’s Legal and Educational Resource Centre (CLERC). After several years in hibernation CLERC’s Youth Law website is back. I’m currently working on my Certified Professional in Web Accessibility (CPWA) Certification from the International Association of Accessibility Professionals (IAAP). Taking courses from Deque University.

READING THESE ACCESSIBILITY BOOKS

As part of working on my IAAPCertification, I’m reading these books. Written by Jakob Neilson, a Danish web usability consultant and human–computer interaction researcher. He was named the “guru of Web page usability” in 1998 by The New York Times.

STICKERS FOR ENGLISH LANGUAGE CENTRE

Designed stickers to promote the English Language Centre at the University of Victoria, Division of Continuing Studies. Some pro bono work. Watch for these stickers in Japan and South Korea!

EDMONTON FOLK MUSIC FESTIVAL

We’re working on an accessibility audit and remediation for the Edmonton Folk Music Festival website. This project is in conjunction with our friends at Level Playing Field who do real world accessibility assements.

TYRRELL CLARKE BOOKMARKS

Worked with Tyrrell to design a new line of bookmarks in advance of Gabriola Island’s 27th Annual Studio Tour. The bookmarks are given away to help promote Tyrrell and her work.
